While going through the empty-nest
syndrome I realized that I needed something to care for, hold, and
love. So, rather than having another human baby, I researched AKC
purebred toy breeds. After two years of research and going to dog
shows I decided that the Maltese was for me! There is nothing more
beautiful and elegant than a well-bred AKC Maltese Dog floating across
the floor with their gorgeous silk coat flowing. Their loving, sweet
temperaments are icing on the cake.
Once I purchased my first Maltese, I went
back two weeks later and purchased her sister. After all, one Maltese
Puppy certainly was not enough! I couldn't believe how much I could
love these "Ye Ancient Dogge of Malta" AKC Maltese Puppies. Even more
amazing was the love and joy they gave to us, ten-fold!
Our love for the Maltese breed grew
and grew. We became involved in AKC Maltese Breed clubs and showing
our wonderful little MaltAngels in AKC conformation shows to their AKC
Maltese Champion titles.
A couple of years ago I was fortunate
enough to retire from working outside the home in order to become a
full-time Maltese caretaker. I can now get Maltese kisses any time I
want, 24/7. Being home gives me the time to properly care for and
socialize our Maltese Puppies and Maltese Show Dogs. Socialization is
a big part of raising happy, confident, well-balanced Maltese. The
inherent sweet, friendly, and outgoing personality of the Maltese
makes them wonderful companions. THE BEST little MaltAngels! |
